Grinning ear to ear, Lana Del Rey greeted fans and posed for photographs outside Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Saturday (August 4).
The 26-year-old singer-songwriter wore a white v-neck shirt, skinny jeans, and a pearl necklace as she happily obliged fan requests.
During a recent show in Sydney, Australia the "Videogames" singer performed a cover of Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box." Videos of the tribute soon appeared online and Courtney Love, former wife of the troubled frontman, reacted on Twitter.
Though the comments have since been deleted, the Hole frontwoman reportedly tweeted, "You do know the song is about my Vagina right? 'Throw down your umbilical noose so i can climb right back,' umm… On top of which some of the lyrics about my vagina I contributed. So umm next time you sing it, think about my vagina will you?"
Miss Del Rey likely knew the origin of the lyrics, as she told a radio host last year that watching Kurt Cobain sing the song "stopped me dead in my tracks." She insists that even at age 11, she related to his sadness.
Later, however, Love calmed down and tweeted, "You are gorgeous and very talented, it was all in good humor love, it is true however bwahaa xc.”
