Brace yourselves, Brady Bunch fans: Vince Vaughn is said to be executive producing a reboot of the sitcom nearly 40 years after it's final episode aired.
According to Deadline, CBS is working on a modern version of "The Brady Bunch" which will feature a blended family of eight and document their lives as they face struggles brought on by the current era.
The remake will focus on Bobby Brady, a divorced father who decided to remarry and have a child with a woman who is also divorced and has children of her own, and both of their ex-spouses are expected to make appearances.
Mike Mariano has been named as the writer of the series after Vaughn reportedly approached him with the idea, and Lloyd Schwartz - the son of the original show's creator, Sherwood Anderson - will work alongside the "Wedding Crashers" star as an executive producer.
