Team USA has held multiple celebrations int he first two days of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, but the end of Sunday’s (July 29) female gymnastics preliminary proved to bring upset to one athlete.

Fan favorite and world champion Jordyn Wieber, has only lost two all-around competitions since 2008, but the 17-year-old's unsteady balance beam and floor exercise routines placed her behind her teammates Aly Raisman and Gabby Douglas, knocking her out of the all-around final competition.

Distraught about the unexpected outcome, Jordyn was seen crying as she headed through the mixed zone. Raisman says she still has much to be thankful for telling press, “I was really surprised, and I feel awful because she wanted it so bad, but she should still feel proud because she's an Olympian. We have to stay calm and focused on team finals."

All of the girls will be preparing for the team effort, which will take place on Tuesday (July 31), but as of right now USA still holds the number one spot as they finished with 181.863 points, just 1.4 point ahead of Russia, which is also the men gymnastics team's biggest competitor.
